Limited Copper Mountain Lodging is still available for the Symposium.

Nurse Practitioners and Health Policy: Finding our Voice and Courage
Eileen T. O’Grady, PhD, MSN, MPH, NP-C; Policy Editor of NP World News and American Journal for Nurse Practitioners, Washington, DC
Dr. Eileen O'Grady will highlight the key policy opportunities specific to NPs that lie at the threshold of health care reform. She will propose future-oriented ideas on how NPs can creatively and courageously use our power to inform and influence how care is delivered in this country.
Eileen O'Grady, an adult nurse practitioner, regularly reports on a wide range of health care policy issues and serves as policy editor and columnist for the AJNP and NP World News. She is currently on the faculty at Pace University and has authored numerous articles and book chapters on advanced practice nursing, health policy and primary care.
In honor of Loretta C. Ford, EdD, FAAN, the visionary co-founder of Nurse Practitioner education, the University of Colorado Denver College of Nursing has provided a generous grant to support this session.
